ORF Radio Styria Bike Rally

Cycling takes place on designated bike paths, along the R11 - alongside the Raab, next to meadows and fields of the beautiful southeastern Styria. The "R11," one of the most visited cycling routes in Austria, stretches 105 kilometers from Passail to Jennersdorf in Burgenland. Organized by the Raabtal cycling hosts and ORF Radio Steiermark, the traditional "Cycling Day" kicks off the season on the Raabtal cycling path with a star ride to Feldbach. Depending on the weather, up to 2,000 cyclists pedal through the idyllic Raab Valley to relax at the musical and culinary cycling brunch in the "center" of Feldbach. Accompanied by ORF editor Erich Fuchs, the day promises not only enjoyment in the saddle but also live impressions along the route. Participation in Cycling Day is free, but those who want to test their luck can secure a BonusCard for a chance to win great prizes and thermal spa entries in the Thermal & Volcano Land. Supported by the tourism associations of Thermal & Volcano Land, Eastern Styria, and the city of Feldbach, Cycling Day is a fixed part of the region's event calendar. Off to the ORF Radio Steiermark Cycling Day - where spring is celebrated on two wheels!

Start locations: Gleisdorf: 8-10 AM at Drive-In Wurm; Fehring: 9-11 AM at the main square;
11 AM Children's start; Jennersdorf: 9-10:30 AM at Hotel Raffel
Destination: Center Feldbach (event center) with ORF cycling brunch, music by Gernot Fraiss and his band "Schräg," and culinary offerings from the Raabtal cycling hosts.
Prize drawing starting at 12 PM: Grand prizes include cycling vacations, a Gösser beer party, annual supplies of OGO, annual supplies of mineral water, and much more.
