Historical Background:
In 1431, Duke Albrecht of Austria faces an existential challenge in light of the threat posed by the Hussites. The plundering of the Hussites from Bohemia has devastated the northern countries of the Danube, and Albrecht is forced to defend his lands. In his desperation, he calls upon the peasants to arms, conscripting every tenth peasant to join his army. This decision underscores the urgency of the situation, as the regular forces are insufficient to combat the well-organized Hussites.
