ORF Radio Steiermark Run in Bad Waltersdorf

The 17th Thermal & Volcano Land Running Cup 2026 makes a stop in Bad Waltersdorf! On April 18, 2026, the 21st Radio Steiermark Run will take place – a sporting highlight for the whole family. Here’s what to expect:

- Flat, AIMS-measured circuit through the town center
- Events for all ages and performance levels
- Running festival with music and atmosphere in the village square

Overview of the running events:
- 11:30 AM – Bambini Sprint (200 m)
- 11:40 AM – H2O KidsRun (800 m)
- 11:50 AM – H2O KidsRun (1,600 m)
- 12:15 PM – Awards ceremony for children
- 1:00 PM – Heiltherme Run (4.2 km, 8.4 km, 12.6 km)
- 1:00 PM – Nordic Walking & smoveyWALK (6.5 km)
- 1:00 PM – Half Marathon (21.1 km)
- 3:30 PM – Closing of timekeeping
- 3:45 PM – Awards ceremony for main races

Number bib distribution & late registration:
- Friday, April 17, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cultural Center Bad Waltersdorf
- Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 9:30 AM until max. 12:00 PM on-site
- Online late registration possible until Thursday, April 16, 2026, 11:59 PM
