A biography based on true events and memories.
In "Well, congratulations...", his 4th solo program, Wolfgang Fifi Pissecker celebrates several anniversaries: namely, crossing the magical threshold of 60, which he could not have imagined at 16, as well as his 44th stage anniversary, which he had anticipated much earlier at the age of 16!
More than 40 of those years were spent with Austria's most successful cabaret group, "Die Hektiker," of which he is a founding member (founded in 1881, or so it feels!).
In "Well, congratulations...", the audience favorite reflects on his first 60 years in this life and humorously revisits his past during an entertaining evening. As far as he can still remember, that is. Starting from how everything began back then to how it might possibly come to an end. Free to the motto: If it can't be the best, then at least the funniest at the end!
With plenty of punchlines, the man who shone as Anatol in "Vorstadtweiber" reflects on everything that was, what is, and what might still be. In "Well, congratulations...", Wolfgang Fifi Pissecker offers us very personal and humorous insights into his first six decades on Earth and why his grandmother was so pivotal to them! Pissecker embarks on a quest to understand why he, the people, and the world have become what they are after 60 years, and whether it is really all his fault...
In his usual entertaining manner, the audience favorite manages to balance punchlines and profound thoughts. After the Camino de Santiago, Supernaked, and the sweat-inducing Dancing Stars on ORF, he takes on the challenge of giving it his all once again. More precisely, everything his body and mind can still muster after 60 years. Joyful, exuberant, and absolutely worth seeing! A must-see! "Well, congratulations..."
