For the turn of the year 2025, the Pölz-Halle Amstetten once again transforms into a stage for great emotions, cheerful scenes, and unforgettable melodies: The Viennese Operetta Ensemble invites you to the festive New Year's Gala "Best of Operetta" - a musical fireworks display of arias, duets, ensemble numbers, Viennese songs, and lively dances. Accompanied by the Wienerwald Salon Orchestra, an evening full of charm, wit, and musical excellence unfolds. Works by Johann Strauss, Franz Lehár, Emmerich Kálmán, Paul Abraham, and many others will be performed in fresh, captivating interpretations. Classic operetta hits like "Komm mit nach Varasdin" and "Lippen schweigen" will make hearts race - complemented by dynamic dance numbers and acrobatic performances. The entertaining host Hermann Jahrmann will guide the evening, delighting the audience with exciting anecdotes, charming wit, and insights into the world of operetta.
