Organ concert for Ascension Day

Whether as a chamber music instrument, a cinema organ, or in a classical setting – the festival organ by Johann Freundt (1642) once again demonstrates its versatility. In five concerts, this significant musical heirloom of the abbey will be the focus.

ORGAN CONCERT FOR ASCENSION DAY
On Ascension Day, the abbey basilica will transform into a space of great organ artistry as Eivind Berg from Norway brings to life compositions by Hofhaimer, Froberger, and Sweelinck, as well as free improvisations on the festival organ.
