"The forest invites you to listen," once said Hermann Hesse, and it seems only fitting that a small ensemble from the Salzburg Philharmonic sets out to bring the forests of Gastein to life in harmony with music lovers. Works by Bach, Pachelbel, Mozart, Haydn, Grieg, Bernstein, and many other composers are on the program. The atmosphere among the firs, spruces, and larches is intense, with crackling branches and rustling treetops, creating an intimate ambiance full of inspiration.
Arrival: Starting point is the parking lot/bus stop at the Angertal Ski Center. Cross the bridge over the Angerbach to the left of the ski center building, then follow the signs to your destination. (Walking time approx. 30 min)
