After-work tour at Kunstraum Dornbirn

Ecology and agriculture are the defining themes within the oeuvre of Anna Hulačová (* 1984), in which the Czech artist explores a dualism of utopia and dystopia that reflects the conflict between pessimism and optimism with regard to the current and future state of the world.Hulačová's drawings and sculptures - technical working machines, plants, animals and people - made of concrete, ceramics and wood take up the tense intermediate state: they are hybrid beings and machines whose physicality and function are transformed, which are connected and merge into one another.For the exhibition at Kunstraum Dornbirn, Hulačová creates new works and combines them with existing works to create a narrative created for the space.
