HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED HOW PEOPLE GOT FROM A TO B IN THE PAST?

Train tickets, flight bookings, hotel reservations – all of this is completely normal for us today. But what was traveling like hundreds of years ago? What did it mean to be on the road in the Middle Ages – without asphalt roads, without GPS, and certainly without all-inclusive packages?

In this interactive workshop, children will dive into the fascinating world of medieval travel. An experienced travel guide will welcome the little adventurers in the foyer. How do we travel today – and how was it back then? After a brief comparison, the children will take on medieval roles and set off as a colorful group of travelers through the Museum St. Peter an der Sperr.

A time travel experience filled with participation, laughter, and wonder. Because traveling in the Middle Ages was adventurous, arduous – and sometimes quite dangerous.
