Guided City Tour (Recommended for ages 10 and up)

A city walk through the former imperial residence
On this tour, you will learn how Wiener Neustadt has significantly shaped the history of Austria. From the founding of the city in 1192 with the ransom for Richard the Lionheart to its heyday as an imperial residence under the Habsburgs.
The tour will take you to the most important sights of the city: the Cathedral of Our Lady, the main square, the Old Town Hall, and the castle where Maximilian I was born. The journey through time concludes with a visit to the casemates, which once served as a defensive structure.
