Altheim farmers' and gourmet market

The farmers' market in Altheim is officially called the Altheimer Bauern- und Genussmarkt and offers fresh farm produce ranging from bread, fruit and vegetables to meat, sausage, cheese and homemade pastries for customers to choose from. It also depends on the products, as fruit and vegetables are available depending on the season and so the range changes from time to time. The market is also an opportunity as a meeting place and you can make your wishes known to the producer, if they can be fulfilled at all, but personal contact is just as important for the customers as it is for the farmers themselves.
