Rauschen is a tumultuous movement, a rush, a surge to feel life in all its intensity: Choreographer Joachim Schlömer invites you to experience the fleeting beauty of the moment and the energy of dance. In "Rauschen" or "The Echo of Days," six dancers and a musician celebrate the transience of life and the enduring power of dance. With every step, every gesture, and every sound, a dizzying whirlpool emerges, where movement and music merge. Each movement becomes a fleeting moment that resonates deeply in memory. A dance about the beauty of the moment, about the mystery that dance can transcend time – fleeting, intense, triumphant!

Joachim Schlömer shaped the dance theater at the National Theater Weimar and at the Theater Basel as Artistic Director, as well as the Festspielhaus St. Pölten from 2009 to 2013. In his work as a director and choreographer, including for opera and drama, he impresses with his unique connection of music and movement. Since 2024, he has been leading the Choreographic Center and the Dance & Media Lab at Tanzhaus Basel.
