Forest-rich: The Forest and Us!

The exhibition "Waldreich. The Forest and Us!" addresses the multifaceted and evolving relationship between humans and forests from the beginning of the Stone Age to the present, using objects from the collections of the Province of Upper Austria. It invites visitors to engage with the topic using all their senses. How we perceive the forest and interact with it tells us a lot about our relationship with nature in general. Designed as a family exhibition, it explores the following questions: How has the forest changed? How does it inspire humans, and what current research is being conducted on this topic? The exhibition offers many opportunities for active and participatory engagement with the theme of the forest. The family exhibition "Waldreich. The Forest and Us!" is accompanied by a comprehensive cultural mediation program.
