Invitation to the Family Hiking Day – Together on the Way for Our Children!
On October 26, 2026, the Parents' Association of Bad Waltersdorf warmly invites you to the traditional Family Hiking Day! The start is from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the ESV Hall in Bad Waltersdorf – ideal for early risers as well as for leisurely late starters. The approximately 8-kilometer route leads through the beautiful surroundings of Bad Waltersdorf and is easy to manage for both adults and children. Young hikers can look forward to an exciting children's quiz with fun and educational questions, as well as a guessing game for all ages. There are great prizes to be won! We have ensured that your physical well-being is taken care of: Along the route, you will find several refreshment stations with refreshing drinks and snacks. After the hike, there will be good food at the ESV Hall and the opportunity to relax and unwind with friends and family. The entry fee is 3 euros for adults, while children up to 14 years can hike for free. The entire proceeds from the event will directly benefit our children – whether for school projects, excursions, or new learning materials. Come by, enjoy a lovely autumn day with family and friends, and support a good cause at the same time.
