Michael Köhlmeier continues his popular series on American myths with "Western Heroes," in collaboration with Hans Theessink. The Wild West, which spread its ideas of freedom and adventure throughout the world, produced many heroes. He examines the hero myth of the gunslingers through the biographies of Billy the Kid, the bandit Jesse James, Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday, and John Wesley Hardin. Numerous legends surround all these gunslingers. The great storyteller Michael Köhlmeier will delve into these on this evening. Blues master Hans Theessink will contribute the musical part with his sonorous voice and unmistakable guitar playing.
