Repair café

The village renewal association Steinakirchen Aktiv warmly invites you to the Repair Café on May 2nd and June 6th. It will take place as usual at the Steinakirchen Middle School.

Since February 2024, the initiative of the village renewal association has been gaining popularity. Since the start of the initiative, numerous people have come with their repairable devices, about 60% of which have been successfully restored. Many articles of clothing have been repaired, and knives have been restored to their original sharpness.

During the waiting time at the café, many stories and anecdotes were exchanged with musical accompaniment, turning it into a real storytelling café.

At this event, which is supported by voluntary engagement, people with craftsmanship or technical know-how are in demand. Small devices that no longer work and are simply too good to throw away can be brought in. Together with the present experts, these will be checked for repairability and, if possible, repaired.
