The grand tour production featuring a star-studded cast. A true musical highlight!

Since 2010, "The Phantom of the Opera" by the author team Deborah Sasson and Jochen Sautter has captivated audiences on stages across Europe.

For the outstanding quality of the performers, the music, and the spectacular set design, the production was awarded the Golden Sun 2023 as the best musical.

In 2026, the grand tour production with Deborah Sasson and Uwe Kröger will return to Austria. The audience and the press are celebrating the collaboration between the singer and Germany's number one musical star, who will once again take on the role of the Phantom. The impressive set design is brought to life by the striking three-dimensional video projections of the acclaimed multimedia artist Daniel Stryjecki, as well as the magnificent stage elements built by Michael Scott of the Metropolitan Opera in New York. This new production, which was created for the 100th anniversary of the novel "Le Fantôme de l’Opéra" written by Gaston Leroux in 1910, is one of the most successful touring musicals in Europe. The production distinguishes itself from all previous musical interpretations of the literary work by adhering more closely to the original novel and incorporating well-known operatic quotes into parts of the music composed by Sasson.

The role of Christine is performed by the internationally celebrated Boston soprano and Echo Klassik award winner Deborah Sasson. Her multifaceted and powerful voice is perfect for this blend of opera and musical.

The Phantom is played by Uwe Kröger, who won the hearts of the audience since his breakthrough in the role of Death in the world premiere of Elisabeth.

He has played leading roles in the premieres of Rebecca, Mozart, The Visit of the Old Lady, Heidi, and in the German-language premieres of Sunset Boulevard, Miss Saigon, Doctor Dolittle, The Addams Family, and Napoleon in London's West End. Now, he takes on the role of the feared and internally torn Phantom in this production.
