Workshop - Paper Making

In paper making, paper is produced from a mixture of water and cellulose fibers, which can come from recycled paper or plant materials. A mold, consisting of a sieve and a wooden frame, is used to evenly collect the paper pulp. Excess water drips off while the fibers bond together to form a thin layer. This layer is then transferred onto an absorbent cloth and gently pressed. After drying, a unique sheet of paper with a characteristic texture is created. In this workshop, the basics of paper making will be taught, and participants will have the opportunity to create their own paper.
