After more than 8000 concerts and 50 years "on the road," HANS THEESSINK is an institution in the realm of roots music. His soulful interpretations of solo acoustic blues have become his trademark, and with his sonorous voice and unmistakable guitar style, the Dutchman and Vienna resident is in high demand worldwide. His tours take him through Europe, North America, Asia, New Zealand, and Australia. In the USA—where the blues originated—Hans, as the only European, is repeatedly featured at the largest blues, roots, jazz, and folk festivals.
