Production price of the 39th International Competition for Choreography Hanover 2025

TANZ LINZ and the Landestheater Linz are once again awarding the production prize of the International Choreography Competition Hannover, which will take place from June 19 to 21, 2025. As the only Austrian theater, we offer one finalist the opportunity to choreograph a full-length dance piece with TANZ LINZ. The theme of the production aligns with the season motto AS OLD AS YOUNG and encourages a discourse on generational dynamics, the evolution of human relationships, and timeless connections.

The international company of TANZ LINZ, consisting of 16 dancers from 12 countries, provides participants with the chance to work in a professional environment and further develop their artistic signature. In 2024, 460 applications from 65 countries highlight the competition's significance as a springboard for young choreographers.
