Envy, gluttony, greed, lust, pride, sloth, and wrath. When you google deadly sins today, the first result is a definition from the German Economic Institute: “Seven motives and behaviors that accompany people in everyday life, but are simultaneously morally branded as offenses.” But how do these deadly sins manifest in our modern world? And how real is the branding when one gives in to them? In the new event series at Phönix:Balkon, we will engage with the deadly sins over the next two seasons. This will result in seven very different evenings, both in terms of content and form.
