"The Commissioner" is back! After hundreds of performances, countless sold-out shows, and over half a million enthusiastic visitors, the creators of "FALCO – The Musical" are now taking the latest masterpiece from the creative team led by lead actor Alexander Kerbst on tour, bringing the myth back to life: "FALCO MEETS AMADEUS" tells the visually stunning and eccentric story of two absolute exceptional figures in music history, combining all of Falco's greatest hits live with the exciting tale of the legendary Viennese artist. The sensational new stage show provides a deep insight into the thoughts and emotions of the artist and the person behind the flamboyant pop icon, honoring the remarkable life’s work of "The Falcon." In 2026, "FALCO MEETS AMADEUS" will embark on a grand premiere tour through Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy. "I am only immortal when I am dead!" These dark, prophetic words surround the new homage to the greatest genius of German-speaking pop and rap history. "FALCO MEETS AMADEUS" is a gripping and deeply moving musical journey through the defining moments in the life of the distinctive musician – a person who lived life to the fullest and went through many highs and lows, leading to self-destruction.

With over 60 million records sold, an almost limitless number of sold-out concerts worldwide, and the only German-language song to ever top the American charts, Falco became the most internationally successful Austrian musician of all time alongside Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. In his number one song "Rock Me Amadeus," he sings about Mozart's popularity, debts, and his relationships with women – parallels that can also be attributed to Falco himself alongside his "rock idol." The song, being a turning point in Falco's career, will of course be included in the new version of "FALCO MEETS AMADEUS." Alongside "Rock Me Amadeus" and its origins, there are many other similarities between the two musical geniuses: both were far ahead of their time, created their own unique musical style, and shaped the music of their era like no one else; two complex and controversial characters straddling the line between genius and madness, and two excessively lived lives that each ended far too early. Falco died at the age of 40 in a car accident in the Dominican Republic, while Mozart passed away at the young age of 35 from rheumatic fever. Both lived primarily in Vienna, where they were also laid to rest. In the hearts of their fans, they live on forever, and their musical legacy ultimately made them immortal.

The song selection in this spectacular show experience includes all of Falco's greatest hits such as "Der Kommissar," "Vienna Calling," "Jeanny," and "Out of the Dark," as well as early successes like "Ganz Wien," impressive tracks like "Emotional" or "Coming Home," some unjustly forgotten titles, and the currently relevant song "Europa." This homage brings "The Falcon" back to the stage and presents all songs live with a five-member band and outstanding performers. The flamboyant and extravagant performances of the dance ensemble breathe new life into the songs and wonderfully round off the stage spectacle.

Insider knowledge and years of experience as a quality promise. For the authentic implementation, the creative team is supported by Falco's former bandleader Thomas Rabitsch as musical director and Falco's former manager and friend Horst Bork as an advisor, who were also involved in "FALCO - The Musical." With this insider knowledge and the expertise from the last Falco show, the audience success of "FALCO MEETS AMADEUS" is already pre-programmed. "How much Falco can still move and excite people today is truly impressive," emphasizes lead actor Alexander Kerbst, who embodies the eccentric musician in the show alongside Stefan Wessel. For him, it is clear: "When an artist can still reach the children and grandchildren of his fans years after his death, then he is truly immortal."

On the controversial exceptional artist and his music. "That was Falco, but now we play proper music." The well-known comment from the radio station Ö3 about a Falco track impressively illustrates how controversial the artist was during his lifetime. Horst Bork, Falco's former manager and biographer, knows and understands the dilemma: "When it comes to the question of whether and how one can do justice to the artist Falco with a stage show, one could easily say: not at all! But that would have been a shame because Falco deserves this monument!" The well-known musical producer Oliver Forster emphasizes: "The many reports and interviews, the numerous feedback from audiences, and not least the consistently high demand for a revival demonstrate how firmly Falco remains anchored in the minds and hearts of music fans. For us, this is, of course, a stroke of luck, as such a venture as our previous Falco production and now the adaptation to 'FALCO MEETS AMADEUS' only works with genuine, timeless legends."

The success concept of musical biographies, newly termed "Biographical." The successful producer and organizer from Passau, Oliver Forster (COFO Entertainment), has already shown a good sense of the audience's taste as a tour organizer for musical biographies like "ELVIS – The Musical," "all you need is love! – The Beatles Musical," or "Simply The Best – The Tina Turner Story." COFO has also filled theaters in the German-speaking world with original productions about global stars like Michael Jackson ("BEAT IT!") or Frank Sinatra ("That’s Life") in recent years. This success story continues with "FALCO MEETS AMADEUS."
