The Addams Family is back! This time in a delightfully spooky musical comedy show. The Addams live in their decaying mansion near Central Park. The neighbors attribute to them a penchant for the macabre. They are considered quirky, eccentric, and by some even monstrous. When the smallest family member, "the little cold hand," walks through the front yard or when the son of the house is seen playing with his guillotine in the moonlight, passersby cross to the other side of the street.
So far, none of the Addams have cared about the gossip, but suddenly the daughter Wednesday begins to feel ashamed of her family: Wednesday is in love with Lucas, a completely "normal" boy. She dreads the thought of Lucas meeting her family, but the encounter is unavoidable. Lucas's uptight mother shows up right away to get a sense of the people her son associates with. With a tense crossbow and a wicked smile, the Addams greet their guests and try to be "perfectly normal" for one evening, for their daughter's sake.
