Austrian Pottery Market in the Ceramic City of Gmunden

Every year in August (on the last weekend – from 10 AM to 6 PM), the ceramic town of Gmunden on Lake Traunsee becomes a mecca of pottery art, transforming the town hall square and the esplanade into a stage for European pottery elite. This year, the organizers have once again succeeded in selecting workshops that present a sophisticated mix and a cross-section of contemporary ceramic creation in all forms. Visitors will once again get a good impression of the European ceramics scene. All of this contributes to positioning our town as a "ceramic city" even better on both a national and international level.
