In the 1970s, Christine Nöstlinger created classics of dialect literature with her poems "Iba de gaunz oamen Leit." Even later, she repeatedly ventured into a very personal, tough yet profoundly loving human lyrical thought world. Kurt Schwertsik already set selected texts from these volumes to chansons in 1983. On the occasion of the 90th birthday of the Austrian writer, CrossNova has now commissioned further musicians from various genres to set Nöstlinger’s poems to music. Rainer Nova
