The day before the Christmas holiday in Mauritius, Kati decides: "I want to get married... and: I want a child!" Her boyfriend is not on board, and she is annoyed because "this can't be a problem." But he stands his ground. Mauritius is off the table, and Kati quickly heads to her sister Luiserl's place to spend Christmas in the countryside with her and her family. But there is no sign of the desired tranquility... "Where is he?" - Grandma can't find the marjoram but still manages Christmas on her own. "If only Papale could see this..." she dreams and assures: "I won't complain, I've never complained!" Luiserl escapes from Grandma's "big, fat goose" into alcohol, and Lilibet treats herself to "two tiny egg liqueurs." Hansi, the "man of the house," asks once more: "Are you decorating the stupid tree or not?" Torn between his wife, mother, and mother-in-law, he ultimately decides: "One humiliation follows the next." Sissy panics and confesses: "Lilibet, the rat is gone!" and Gregor demands: "Carps have a right to life too!" In the end, the Christmas tree catches fire, and a rat sits in the manger. Just the usual family Christmas madness, right? They sing: "Don't mess around, the Christ Child is coming!"
