Maria Ma opens doors to a variety of genres as a multi-creative hackbrettist. She created the music for the Ö1 radio play "Märzengrund" by Felix Mitterer, collaborated multiple times with star producer Christian Kolonovits, experiments with her world-crunch project MaWieHold!, accompanies actors at readings, plays in the band of STS legend Gert Steinbäcker, and successfully concerts with her homage to Georg Danzer, "Maria Ma Terzett feat. Ulli Bäer."

In 2024, she debuted with "Maria Ma PUR" at the Vienna Concert Hall and has since allowed her audience to partake in what has become her most intense and important musical expression over the years. Her compositions are inspired by the ethereal, overtone-rich sound of the hackbrett, nature, her travels, encounters, and stories. She weaves floating sound carpets with complex rhythms and occasionally lets her musical roots shine through.
