Symphonic Orchestra Leibnitz - New Year's Concert

Every year, the New Year's Concert officially opens the event series of the market town of Lannach – organized by the Cultural Committee of the market town of Lannach. For many years, the Symphony Orchestra Leibnitz has entertained numerous guests from near and far. Well-known as well as newly selected works are presented. The Symphony Orchestra Leibnitz is an orchestra that is well-known far beyond the borders of the Leibnitz region. It is one of the few orchestras from a district town that has been around for a long time and continuously performs concerts. Over the years, its repertoire has expanded from Baroque music to Classical, Opera, Operetta, and Musical. Special highlights have also included musical excerpts from famous films and jazz standards.
