Since their early youth, brothers Claus and Erich Frauenberger have been making music. Over twenty-five years ago, the two decided to try their hand as street musicians under the name "Virginia Two." Since then, they have been interpreting well-known older songs in their own way, from the genres of Country and Rock & Roll. Right from the start of their musical career, their choice of instruments was unusual. While Erich performed the songs with guitar and vocals, he was supported by Claus with his tenor horn or trumpet. Songs played with two guitars, multi-part harmonies, and harmonica support from Erich expanded their repertoire.

Over time, Claus discovered his passion for the keyboard, leading to many songs being rearranged. Later, Claus and Erich received musical support from family and friends. Thus, the band name "Virginia Two" was extended to include "Friend" or "Friend's." Depending on the availability of the "Friends," the size of the band at performances varies. A very constant friendship has developed with their double bassist Herbert Adelsberger, who has been accompanying them for eight years. Many of their songs have a unique sound — the "Virginia Two" sound. Together, they continually take on hits, arranging and performing them in their own way.
