Thematic Tour: The Cement Project – KZ Ebensee

Towards the end of 1943, the National Socialists in Ebensee aimed to implement an armaments project designed to test so-called "wonder weapons" in order to avert the impending defeat. For this purpose, the Ebensee concentration camp was established. Many people were involved with the camp, not only victims and perpetrators but also civilians from the surrounding area. In today's engagement with the history of the concentration camp, numerous questions arise that we will discuss together during the tour.
