PETER C. FRANK:
Since 2015, Peter has dedicated himself entirely to the music of Udo Jürgens. As a soloist at the piano, with a live band and orchestra, he has made a name for himself as an interpreter of Udo Jürgens in various projects. The trained singer and musician has worked as a solo vocalist at various German theaters in the fields of opera, operetta, and musical since the late 1980s (including in Oldenburg, Brandenburg, Hanover, Hildesheim). As a songwriter, he released his own CD ("Neues Leben") in 2015 and composed his own musicals such as "Der Graf am Gleichen" (2006) and "Jesus ganz nah dran" (2013). In close friendly collaboration with Udo Jürgens' lyricist Wolfgang Hofer, he recently created the musical "Die Schildbürger – Das Narrenmusical" (2024) as well as other new German-language songs. Peter and his band are closely connected. They have been making music together since their student days and have now embraced the music of Udo Jürgens.
"Udo Jürgens' timeless music is close to my heart! To preserve his timeless legacy, I present it live and authentically – whether in intimate solo concerts at the piano, in thrilling performances with a band, or in grand shows with a symphony orchestra. Additionally, I write my own songs and musicals, into which I infuse my personal touch. It is always my deep concern to touch people with my music and to carry melodies of life into the world!" (Peter C. Frank)
