Avalanche course in Adelboden

Here you can definitely expect some fun! In your avalanche course, you will learn to better assess the white snow masses. You will embark on an exciting excursion into avalanche science. Your experienced mountain guide will tell you about typical dangers and show you the correct behaviors off the slopes. Together, you will engage in practical search exercises, learn how to use an avalanche transceiver, handle a probe, and create your own snow profiles. Get trained to become an avalanche expert and learn what working at the limit means!

Content:
- 1-day avalanche course for freeriding and ski and snowboard tours
- Experienced mountain guide
- Theoretical and practical snow and avalanche exercises
- Participant voucher valid for 1 person
- Group size of 4 to 8 participants
- Duration: Plan for 1 day

Equipment & Clothing:
- Weather-appropriate ski clothing
- Touring skis with touring bindings or snowboard and snowshoes
- Avalanche transceiver, shovel, and probe
- Backpack with lunch and drinks

The touring ski equipment and the equipment for the avalanche course can be rented from the organizer.

Participation Requirements:
- Skiing or snowboarding experience off-piste
- Fitness for a 1-hour ascent
