Wiener Blut – this is Viennese charm, waltz bliss, and amorous entanglements in three acts! Johann Strauss (Son) himself was already too old for a new operetta, but Adolf Müller Jr. created a musical fireworks display from over 30 of his works – including waltzes like Wiener Blut and Morgenblätter.
The story revolves around Count Zedlau and takes place during the time of the Congress of Vienna: full of misunderstandings, affairs, and of course, a happy ending. After a hesitant premiere in 1899, the work became a public success from 1905 onwards – celebrated worldwide to this day.
Now, this masterpiece of waltz bliss will resonate at Schloss Tabor – a musical delight!
