Every Wednesday, a short concert is served in the mirror foyer of the Graz Opera – perfectly complementing a cup of coffee in the stylish Café Stolz. The espresso concerts offer a musical interlude of exactly 15 minutes starting at 2:30 PM. Admission is free, making the experience all the richer. On stage are members of the Graz Ballet, musicians from the Graz Philharmonic, as well as guests – presenting a varied program of song, dance, and instrumental music. The idea: music in "espresso length," providing a cultural moment in the middle of the week. Sometimes delicate and quiet, sometimes lively and direct – artistic diversity is at the forefront. The concerts take place in the neo-baroque ambiance of the mirror foyer, overlooking Kaiser-Josef-Platz. Café Stolz is part of the Graz experience region, combining urban flair with classical elegance. The first date after the summer break is September 24, 2025 – and then it continues weekly, every Wednesday at the same time. The event is a hidden gem for music lovers and anyone wanting to experience Graz from its quiet, refined side. Music with coffee, right in Styria – a small delight that resonates long after.
