"Pfiati" Tour: The Last Applause
After more than two decades on cabaret and small arts stages, Luis from South Tyrol, also known as Manfred Zöschg, bids farewell to his audience with one last grand tour. The "Pfiati" tour marks the conclusion of a unique stage career and offers a one-time opportunity to experience the beloved South Tyrolean cabaret artist live one last time. With him, he brings new acts, tried-and-true classics, and plenty of stories from real life – funny, touching, and typical of Luis. The audience can look forward to a very personal program that includes reflections on his greatest moments as well as glimpses of what is to come. The Farewell
"I owe everything to my audience – truly everything," says Manfred Zöschg. "'Pfiati' for me doesn't just mean 'goodbye,' but 'take care of yourself.' And I say that from the bottom of my heart." He still feels comfortable on stage – but the surrounding circumstances have simply become too exhausting at 67. So, it's better to stop while it’s still fun. The last tour is "like a mountain run without training – strenuous, but with a view." And it is also a thank you. To everyone who has accompanied him, understood him, laughed with him, and listened to him.
The Book
Accompanying the farewell tour is the release of his first book, which will be published in autumn 2025 by Raetia Verlag. It offers deep insights into Luis's private life – with childhood memories, anecdotes, pranks, and of course, plenty of humor. Especially dear to him is the story of the legendary "gold find": a gilded lead bar, secretly buried in the garden, which caused childlike euphoria, neighborhood gossip – and still provides conversation material in the village today. In addition to humorous memories, the book also recounts special challenges – such as his performance in New York, where Luis presented parts of his program in English – "without much pressure, but with a lot of heart."
The "Pfiati" tour is not just the end of an era – it is a celebration for all who have laughed, thought, and lived with Luis. Those who want to experience him live one more time should seize the opportunity. There will be no encore.
