Romeo and Julia are only the greatest love couple in world literature because they never had to live together, but died in time. In the case of our highly lamentable comedy, it is not the two lovers who have died, but love itself. The children have moved out, the businesses are doing well – and suddenly an old love and a young actress appear, and everyone involved is struck by love once again! Instantly, lies, sex, and betrayal ensue… because as William Shakespeare himself says: “No one can be wise and love!”
