Peter Hook and The Light - EU Tour 2026

"Get Ready was a honeymoon record. Looking back now it was very enjoyable to make, and I think is massively underrated. It did sort the wheat from the chaff and led to a New Order mk2 which played better but had lost a naivety whilst gaining a maturity. Barney and I became a ‘power couple’ in Manchester during the making of the record but, sadly, the old problems recurred when we came to play live. The writing was on the wall from then on. The two of us worked very hard to make this a great record and I think we succeeded. I am looking forward to playing all the tracks, many of which had never been played live before these Get Ready dates. The Light will shine through …" (PETER HOOK)

After an extremely successful "Get Ready" tour through North America in May and June of this year, as well as the upcoming UK Get Ready tour in November, PETER HOOK & THE LIGHT have now announced a EU tour for March 2026 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of New Order's seventh studio album. On the tour, the band will perform the Get Ready album in its entirety, complemented by a separate set featuring the most significant songs from the extensive catalogs of both Joy Division and New Order.

The album "Get Ready" was released in 2001, reached number 2 on the US Billboard Electronic Album Charts and number 6 on the UK Album Charts, and was dedicated by the band to Rob Gretton, the manager of Joy Division and New Order, who passed away in 1999.

The EU Get Ready dates follow another mammoth series of live shows in 2025, including tours in Spain, France, North America, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany, festival appearances across Europe, as well as a full UK tour in the fall.
