Well, everything good? Yes, everything's good. Really now? When, please, did "everything's good" become a daily worn-out mantra? Probably sometime between the toilet paper hoarding, the influencer madness, and all the other global disasters. But, fun fact: Not everything is good!
So. And now for the good news: Christoph & Lollo are releasing a new album! Eleven new songs about politics, coffee, dogs, Instagrammers, and hurt feelings. Here, all the important questions are answered. Where are the hands? Christoph & Lollo even know that. Austria's odd couple of satirical songwriting combines the energy of rock 'n' roll with the DIY spirit of indie punk and a sharp sense of sarcasm. With this, Christoph & Lollo have found the appropriate method to counter the absurd present. Why? Because they can. And no one else is doing it. So: everything's good.
"What is already so extremely funny, clever, and subtly ironic gains the quality of the unique through the grandiose, variable singing in phrasing and articulation and the casually ironic presentation." (Südd. Zeitung)
"Like in their ski jumper days, they are a class of their own here in the country with their socially critical, political satirical, self-ironic, and dry to darkly witty songs." (Falter)
"Absurd, political, bitterly funny, and charmingly lovable." (Passauer Neue Presse)
"Hardly anyone masters the spontaneous merging of tragicomic stories, profound humor, and protest songs as perfectly." (Jury statement, Salzburger Stier 2015)
