Philharmonia Steiermark live at the Cultural Hall Bad Waltersdorf

To kick off the new year, the Lions Club Thermenland, together with the Lions Club Hartberg, the Lions Club Veste Riegersburg, and the parish of Friedberg, invites you to a musical highlight of the highest caliber: the festive New Year's concert of the Philharmonia Steiermark at the Cultural Hall Bad Waltersdorf. The 25-member orchestra, conducted by Prof. MMag. Alois Lugitsch – founder, conductor, and Lions member – brings together top-notch musicians from all over Styria, including members of renowned orchestras from Graz and Vienna, as well as teachers from the Hartberg music school. Experience a varied program featuring highlights of Viennese classical music, the Strauss dynasty, and beloved arias from opera and operetta.

Featured works include:
Pieces by G. Rossini, W. A. Mozart, C. Stamitz, Johann, Josef, and Eduard Strauss, among others. Classics such as "Overture La Cenerentola," "Queen of the Night," "Nightingale Polka," "Rejoice in Life," and the "Jokey Polka."
