State Wine Award
The state winners are tasted: A celebration of wine in St. Pölten
The Festspielhaus in St. Pölten will become the stage for the best wines from Lower Austria on June 19, 2026. The Lower Austrian Chamber of Agriculture and Wine Lower Austria invite you to the tasting of the current state winners and finalists in 24 categories from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Over 300 top wines from the leading wine-growing region of Lower Austria will be available.
Getting there by public transport is easy: Just a 35-minute train ride from Vienna (only a few minutes from the train station to the Festspielhaus) or via the extensive network of VOR buses from across the region (stop at Landhaus in close proximity). Those arriving by car can conveniently park in the underground garage beneath the Festspielhaus.
