Easter Fire of the Rural Youth Unternberg - Thomatal

Every year during Easter time, young people from Lungau spend their time building the unique Easter fires, which can reach heights of up to 12 meters. On the night from Holy Saturday to Easter Sunday, these Easter fires are then lit with the blessed peace light. Naturally, no one wants to miss this spectacle, so the rural population gathers around the fire to celebrate the awakening of nature and the joy of the Lord's resurrection together. The builders of the Easter fires are happy to welcome every visitor.
