Since Birgit Denk and her bandmates gave their first concert in April 2000 at the cellar venue "Shelter" in Vienna, a lot of water has flowed down the Danube, and much has changed in the life and work of the band.
One constant, however, has remained: they have always created dialect music together. Birgit Denk, Alex Horstmann, Ludwig Ebner-Reiter, Harald Wiesinger, and Philipp "Disco" Mayer can boast 11 albums, a DVD, their own television series "Denk mit Kultur," countless videos online, and a nearly 25-year-long tour.
Joyful, authentic, committed, approachable, funny, serious, and uniquely "zaum ghatzt" in a way that only bands that have played together for so long can achieve, they still attract numerous audiences who appreciate handcrafted music, value meaningful lyrics, enjoy being addressed, and are proud to be "completely out" together.
