Philipp Griessler: From the Very Beginning

Philipp Griessler is a songwriter, composer, author, and singer. He began writing German-language songs at the age of 15. With four albums to his name, he has won the hearts of his fans and secured spots on local radio playlists; his latest album, "Von Anfang an," was released in 2024. He takes the audience on a musical journey through autobiographical life stages and interpersonal poetry. Griessler always finds the right tone for the sound of the times and offers very personal insights into his life. He is more than just a musician: he is a storyteller, a social observer, and an artist who knows how to transform images into dialect music. His tour calendar for 2024 is packed with numerous concerts and performances, including at the Stadtsaal in Vienna, the Dialect Music Festival, the Neunkirchen City Festival, and the Long Night of Markets. Atmospheric Advent concerts took him to Vienna, Linz, and Klagenfurt, among other places. He has presented his music in numerous radio interviews and TV appearances. In 2025, he will continue to tour across Austria. The new single "No amoi drüber reden," released on May 30, 2025, tells the story of a relationship that slowly sinks into the mundane and silence. Through routine and habits, what was once deep and meaningful fades away—yet beneath the surface, a strong connection still slumbers. It is a song for all those who have lost love in everyday life and wonder if there might still be a way back—melancholic yet hopeful at the same time.

The nature-loving artist was born in 1972 on the outskirts of Vienna and grew up in a family rich in music. Since 1997, he has lived in the Triestingtal. His love for Lower Austria and his vision of home inspired the songwriter to create the single "Vision" in 2022, with which he reached the finals of the songwriter competition "Dein Lied für Niederösterreich."
