The smaller mountain of Gmunden can be climbed both on foot and conveniently by cable car. Once you reach the top, an exciting guided tour awaits you along the treetop path! Here, you will learn not only interesting facts about Gmunden but also about the forests, waters, mountains, and the fauna and folklore of the region. The tour begins at the foot of the treetop path, follows along the path, and ends at the 39-meter-high observation tower. Our experienced forest guide will provide you with fascinating insights into nature, the connections between living beings and the forest, as well as the historical development of the Salzkammergut region.
