Fred Jaklitsch, an award-winning composer, lyricist, producer, and singer of the former group "Die Seer," has enriched Austrian music with a new facet through his latest project "Mystic Alpin." Mystic Alpin, as world music, is pure crossover. Yodeling merges with Afrobeat rhythms, dialect and English flow seamlessly into one another. When the "Hoamatgfühl" (feeling of home) of the Ausseerland meets world music, it becomes both regional and transcendent.
Jaklitsch's heartfelt song "Wilds Wossa" is also an essential part of his new music project. It is connected to thousands of personal memories, foremost this unity with the audience over decades as THE Seer anthem. But precisely because the unity of man and nature is celebrated, it fits so well with Mystic Alpin, where singer Jeannine Rossi delivers a completely new and touching version.
The current song "Badalada" represents the trend towards a spontaneous, independent, freedom-loving lifestyle of Generation Z. Thus, a feel-good song has emerged in four different languages: English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Austrian dialect – danceable with lots of positive energy!
The collaboration of the exceptional vocal talent Jeannine Rossi with the creative mind of Seer Fred Jaklitsch is the perfect complement for a concert that conveys touching piano ballads and dance party songs, AustroPop alongside house music, all filled with positive energy. The musicians, along with the vocal qualities of the choir "Poplite," make Mystic Alpin a unique sound body that has never existed in this constellation before. Also, because the group, as one of the few in Central Europe, uses so-called sound healing frequencies and spiritual elements, as well as special video insertions. Gospel-like choral passages, dialect rap, soulful lead vocals, and a band that knows how to groove – Mystic Alpin is a mosaic of diverse musicians and genres, proving that music can be a "Dahoam" (home) everywhere.
