Rigoletto - at the Graz Opera

Giuseppe Verdi's Rigoletto is an emotional opera about power, love, and tragedy. Directed by Ute M. Engelhardt and conducted by Vassilis Christopoulos, the production explores the tension between facade and inner abyss. The performances will take place on several dates at the Graz Opera: November 15, 2025, November 20, 2025, November 26, 2025, December 5, 2025, December 7, 2025 (6:00 PM – 8:30 PM), December 10, 2025, December 12, 2025, December 17, 2025, and additional dates in spring 2026. With an Italian libretto and German supertitles, the work invites audiences to look beyond the surface – and to recognize the dark shadows that circle the center of the stage.
