Every Friday, snowshoeing takes place accompanied by our mountain hiking guide from the summit of Schmittenhöhe along the scenic promenade to Sonnkogel. The winter hiking trail offers impressive views of the snowy mountain landscape and Lake Zell. The destination of the hike is Schrambachkopf, where the artwork "Opfertisch oder ein Halleluja" is located. Afterwards, we will descend together to the Sonnkogel Restaurant or the Sonnkogelbahn. Meeting point: 09:00 AM at the valley station of Schmittenhöhebahn InfoCenter. Snowshoes and poles can be rented for a small fee of €6. Registration is only possible through the online shop, until 12:00 PM the day before! In case of cancellation, we will inform you the day before. We recommend sturdy footwear and warm winter clothing for the hike, and be sure to book the snowshoes and poles at the same time!
