Five instrumentalists, five composers, five friends!
Here, five musicians have come together to play their own compositions and arrangements! Usually active as sidemen in various formations, they have the opportunity in Joschi's quintet to realize their own ideas.
The musical roots of the five protagonists, such as swing, blues, gypsy jazz, bebop, Latin, modern jazz, and funk, merge in this band to create a distinctive sound that is further refined by a specifically Viennese touch – "Wiener World Jazz" or better: "A Wöd Jazz aus Wien" for those familiar with the dialect.
