After the successful anniversary tour in 2024, Max Mutzke will be back on the road with his band across Germany in 2026, playing thirteen concerts as part of his live tour, including one in Austria. His fans can look forward to hits from the last 22 years as well as new songs. The impressive career of singer and songwriter Max Mutzke began in 2004 with the number 1 hit "Can’t Wait Until Tonight," with which he placed 8th at the Eurovision Song Contest. Since then, the artist has delighted his fans with his recognizable, soulful voice across various musical styles. Whether it's pop, rock, soul, funk, or jazz – Max Mutzke masters every genre.
By now, Max Mutzke has released eight studio albums and two live albums. His current album "XX" was released on October 11, 2024 – in the twentieth year of his impressive career. It does justice to all facets of the artist and, unlike his previous albums, is not purely a German-language album: His title "Forever Strong," with which he participated again in the ESC preliminary round in February 2024, is included on the album, as is the song "California Spider," released on August 9, 2024.
Max Mutzke captivates his audience not only with his distinctive voice but also with his versatility. The singer has already proven this through collaborations with various artists: For years, Max Mutzke has played with jazz greats such as Klaus Doldinger, Wolfgang Haffner, Bill Evans, Till Brönner, Nils Wülker, Matti Klein Band, Marialy Pacheco, and many more, as well as with the largest and most successful big bands like the SWR Big Band, the WDR Funkhausorchester, the Bundeswehr Big Band, and classical orchestras such as the NDR Radiophilharmonie, the Babelsberg Film Orchestra, and the string quintet Takeover Ensemble.
He continues to achieve success on TV as well: In 2019, Max Mutzke won the first edition of the TV show "The Masked Singer" dressed as an astronaut, and in early 2021, his first own TV format "Lebenslieder" premiered on ARD, which had its continuation in April 2022.
In the book "So viel mehr. Meine Geschichte," released on October 9, 2024, Max Mutzke reflects on his extraordinary life with its ups and downs. He shares stories about his childhood in the Black Forest with five siblings, his personal tragedies, and his journey into show business.
In addition to his numerous projects, social engagement is a special concern for him: Max Mutzke is an active supporter of the German Children's Association in Essen with the campaign against child abuse, has taken on the patronage for NACOA (advocacy for children in Germany who suffer in their families due to their parents' alcohol or drug addiction) at the women's and children's shelter in Waldshut, and is active as an ambassador for the aid organization Misereor.
