Alpine cattle drive festival

As part of the farmers' autumn, the BRUCK FUSCH | GROSSGLOCKNER tourism association, together with the Bruck farming community and the Bruck agricultural college, is once again organising the popular cattle drive this year. The cows from the Piffalm am Großglockner end their summer in Fusch and return to their home barn at the LFS Bruck. In the spirit of tradition and custom, special care is taken to ensure that the animals make the long journey under their own steam. The cows' headdresses are also lovingly handmade by hard-working helpers. Visitors to the Almabtrieb can look forward to a regional farmers' market, traditional live music, demonstrations by associations, lots of customs and tasty cuisine on the grounds of the LFS Bruck. A colourful children's programme awaits the younger visitors, providing fun and variety.
